You are systematic and apply analytical thinking to create detailed project plans, work estimations, resource planning, and scheduling. You understand that good customer service is personalized, and with your valuable experience, you confidently consult with stakeholders in our sawmills, vendors, and service providers.

 

As the main IT point of contact from our Urbana, AR, location, you will utilize your planning and organizational skills to arrange and implement IT equipment, infrastructure, and services for multiple locations. Your responsibilities include planning and deploying technology to enable our manufacturing facilities to operate smoothly.

 

Effective communication to define site-specific requirements, implementation schedules, and production readiness, as well as collaboration with the service desk, technical operations, and solutions teams, are key to success in this role. Along with building relationships, you will capitalize on your strong communication skills to maintain dialogues with key business contacts. You are well-versed in IT standards and will continue to uphold all policies and procedures.

Your role as the IT Delivery Specialist:

Determine and document site infrastructure requirements. Create and manage detailed project plans. Implement IT equipment and services while maintaining technical standards. Oversee the delivery of equipment and services, managing third-party vendors. Monitor service desk tickets and ensure timely resolution.

To excel in this role, you bring:

A Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years in service delivery, technical operations, or networking. Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Preferred certifications such as CCNP, MSCE, etc., are desirable. You should have 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure planning and support for large-scale networks, with knowledge of PC/server hardware, WAN, LAN, wireless networks, and protocols. Experience in IT service support and ITSM processes is essential. The role requires a willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, the ability to work in industrial environments, and a valid driver’s license (passport desirable).

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in various conditions and lift/carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to work from ladders, man lifts, rooftops, and crawl spaces. Ability to travel within the United States as required.
