IT Customer Service Support Specialist
Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking an IT Customer Support Specialist to provide installation, configuration, testing, and technical support services to the Department of Navy’s Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COMOPTEVFOR). A DoD issued Secret Clearance is required.

As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisors, and staying focused on the assigned tasks.

Responsibilities: Provides technical support to end users for computer, application, system, device, printer, access and hardware issuesIdentifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexityResponds to telephone, email and online ticket requests for technical supportDocuments, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as neededConducts Windows imaging and cloning of laptops and computersApplies Microsoft and other third-party security patches and updates to Windows 10 client workstationsProvides Video Teleconference (VTC) technical support and assists end users with making VTC callsConducts new user check-ins and check-outsCreates and modifies Microsoft Active Directory user accountsWill Issue Gov reviewed IT Assets to OPTEVFOR personnel and receive back IT assets for receipt by a Gov/Mil OPTEVFOR memberAssists new users with completing check-in forms and accessing online trainingProvides a monthly status report which contains the progress of work on assigned tasks and future work plans for the upcoming monthOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:An Active DoD issued Secret Security clearance is required3 years’ experience with Customer Service SupportExperience with configuring and maintaining Windows 10/11 workstationsExperience with installing and supporting Microsoft Office 2019 or higherMust meet the applicable DCWF Work Role [411] Foundation Qualifications, Basic which include:Education: Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, unless continuous work in the relevant discipline can be demonstrated ORTraining: Offerings listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository ORPersonnel Certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ ORMust have the proper and current cyber security qualifications to perform IT privileged administrative functions in accordance with the DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) and the DoDM 8140.03, Cyberspace workforce qualification and management programThe compensation range for this position: $28,000 to $38,000 annually.
