IT Coordinator

The IT Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily IT operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of all technology systems, and assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support. This role plays a key part in coordinating IT activities, implementing technology solutions, and ensuring compliance with security policies and company standards. The IT Coordinator works closely with various departments to enhance system efficiency and improve overall IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:IT Support TroubleshootingProvide technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.Assist in managing IT service requests, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.Maintain and update IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and system configurations.Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, software applications, and network devices.Network System AdministrationSupport the administration of servers, databases, and network infrastructure.Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, security, and efficiency.Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery plans.Security ComplianceEnsure IT security measures are in place, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.Conduct regular security audits and assist in implementing cybersecurity policies.Educate employees on IT best practices, including password management and phishing awareness.Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry regulations, and company protocols.Project Coordination System ImprovementsAssist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including software implementations and system upgrades.Work with vendors and service providers to procure IT equipment and manage contracts.Identify opportunities for process automation and technology improvements.Support the integration of new systems and applications into existing infrastructure.
