IT Business Analyst II

Our Curries brand is is looking to add an experienced IT Business Analyst to our Team!

This is an onsite role based put of our Mason City, Iowa manufacturing facility.

 

What you would do as our IT Business Analyst?

You will play a pivotal role in driving high-performance outcomes through effective communication, analysis, and strategic guidance while being the liaison between technical IT staff and line-of-business personnel.

 

You will also:

Define and document business functions and processes. Consult with stakeholders to identify business needs, objectives, and operational procedures. Act as a liaison between end-users, technical analysts, and consultants in system analysis, design, and testing. Analyze feasibility and develop requirements for new systems and enhancements. Identify opportunities for improving business processes through system changes. Plan, organize, and conduct business process improvement projects. Research and prepare reports for management decision-making. Participate in user acceptance testing and system functionality testing. Develop training curriculum and conduct formal training sessions. Maintain a customer-oriented mindset and professional demeanor. Function autonomously and adjust priorities to ensure effective time management. Plan and prepare technical reports, memoranda, and instructional documentation. Stay informed on relevant technology and seek to expand knowledgebase and skill set. Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.

 

The skills and experience you need:
 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business or a related field Minimum of 7 years combined progressive experience in requirements gathering, analysis, software design, and functional testing. Preferred experience with commercial door and frame products, including ordering and/or manufacturing processes. Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools. Experience with various project management methods, and the ability to measure, report status, and course-correct project teams as needed. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate cross-functionally on multi-phase, complex technical projects. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
