What you will be doing 

This position would be part of CORE product development team to work on:

Design, document, and review application architectureWrite and review application framework code and design patternsGuide application security and adherence to FIS policyAdvise on techniques for code reusability and organizationSuggest JavaScript frameworks and extensions to meet requirementsDesign for automated testingResponsible for all aspects of software interface design including audience and task analysis, market analysis, scenario building, storyboarding, prototyping, and defining interface specifications, guidelines, and standards.Translate research findings and user requirements into effective designs.Engage subject matter experts to define design parameters and constraints.Collaborate with product teams to ensure user-centered design process is incorporated into FIS development lifecycle.Willingness to do team management if needed.Collaborate between multiple geographies and teams.Suggest technical solutions for complex technical & domain problems.Represent the team on global forums.

 What you bring: 

Knowledge / Experience

15+ years of hands-on experience on Java with knowledge of Garbage Collector, JMS, Event Based programming, Collections, Java Streams, Dependency Injection Framework (Google juice).Experience on Kafka or other message bus and profiling of Java applicationsAngular JS experience is nice to haveWorking knowledge on application Servers (Tomcat)Strong experience in REST Web ServicesGood knowledge in Transaction Management – ACID propertiesWorking knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins, Docker is required.Experience working in Unix/Linux environment and proven knowledge of scripting languagesWorking experience in Micro-Services will be added advantageExperience in No-SQL database would be added advantage (Preferably CouchBase / Mongo DB)Sound knowledge of Design PatternsGood grasp on system architecture & design.NoSQL experience is nice to have.Understanding of responsive web design best practisesStrong problem-solving, analytical and information organization capabilitiesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate these simply to technical and non-technical audiences

Skills

Familiar with scripting languages likes Groovy / Python.Knowledge of KafkaAgile – SCRUM or XP or TDD methodology preferred.Exposure to CI / CDMicroservices experience is required

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
