US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

CGI Federal is currently looking for an IT Architect with active Top-Secret/SCI clearance to support a large project for a federal government client. The IT Architect will have the opportunity to work in an agile environment, utilizing a variety of skills and languages in a fast-paced, cutting-edge setting where their input can enhance processes and team interactions. This position can be based in Washington DC or Huntsville, AL.

This position is located in Washington, DC.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Provides technical expertise for the development of program requirements relating to information technology, application analysis, software development, and systems integration.
• Designs, plans, installs and supports network communications systems.
• Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture.
• Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements.
• Conducts testing of network design.
• Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
• Ensures the quality of the work produced maintains the highest standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with the back office to ensure that customer requirements are properly captured
• Participates in the development of the technical solution through the mandated processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in software development, or related discipline experience developing and maintaining technical documentation
• Software development and maintenance of internal/external interfaces with systems that provide data (IC Data Services, OGA Systems on the Unclassified side, Internal FBI Systems, etc.
• Thought leadership with ability to lead and shape strategic thinking and execution.
• .NET, C#, Javascript, Java, Perl • Oracle, API Architecture (SOAP/REST), Git • Solr, Bash Shell • Oracle Label Security, PL/SQL • Visual Studio Pro, Selenium
• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills.
• Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy.
• Ability to mentor, coach, lead, and promote talent.
• Minimum of 10+ years' experience as a SME-level IT professional

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,800.00 - $190,100.00.
