Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time, onsite IT leader with a strong spirit of guest service, IT business partner mindset, and project/vendor management experience. This onsite role will be responsible for all guest-facing technologies across our hospitality properties at both Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts in Eagle County, Colorado. The systems ownership scope typically includes guest wifi, TV systems, commercial AV, electronic access control, CCTV, building management systems, and other systems that are not maintained by other Vail Resorts IT groups. This position works closely with Hospitality Leadership, Corporate IT, Conference Services Managers and guests, F&B Managers, Sales Managers, and other business stakeholders on coordination, planning, and maintenance for IT Hospitality.
Operational Support
IT local point of contact for support and maintenance for our Hospitality properties located in Eagle County, Colorado Supports, maintains and coordinates support for IT Hospitality infrastructure, telecom/PBX and provides planning assistance and backup support/guidance as needed (setup, teardown, maintenance and storage) for select group events in property meeting spaces Supports guest-facing and in-room technologies, including wifi, interactive TV, phones, automation, in-room devices, etc Onsite support and IT vendor liaison for The Hythe, a Luxury Collection Resort, Vail Administers and supports property-specific business applications and their deployment Provides after-hours work and on-call support as required Adheres to corporate and PCI, SOX, and data privacy computing standards
Projects
Collaborate and assist in managing local Hospitality IT projects Works with business users and stakeholders in obtaining and documenting business and technical requirements for IT initiatives
Relationships
Acts as a liaison between local business stakeholders and corporate IT team Works with 3rd party vendors to produce needed technology solutions and services Meets with guest clients ahead of conferences and act as the face of IT for conference needs Works with Events team to provide input into setup and best practices Collaborate with all levels of property team members, enterprise teams, and vendors to create IT solutions
Job Requirements:
Hospitality and guest service experience Solutions oriented mindset Ability to act as a business partner rather than a ticket closer Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and constituent needs Understanding of networks, hardware, and software deployments Advanced hardware and software troubleshooting skills Network support and administration experience Strong understanding of WAN and LAN technologies Ability to read, write, and speak English Travel between properties in Eagle County
Preferred Skills:
Experience with project management Experience with vendor management At least 2 years of IT experience Experience with branded properties (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, etc)
The expected pay range is $70,000 - $80,000. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
