This role involves conducting risk assessments, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. The ISSO will also continuously monitor security controls using NIST 800-137 as a guide and perform periodic vulnerability scanning and security impact analysis of changes. _Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident with an active Public Trust clearance._ Rate: $40 - $51 / hr. w2 **Responsibilities:** + Develop and implement information security policies and procedures. + Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. + Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches. + Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations. + Provide security awareness training to staff. + Continuously monitor and test security controls using NIST 800-137 as a guide. + Perform periodic vulnerability scanning and security impact analysis of changes. **Experience Requirements:** **Required Minimum Years Experience:** + 5 years Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). **Skill Sets/Abilities:** + Knowledge of security frameworks, controls, risk management, and incident response. + Strong analytical and decision-making skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Education Requirements:** + Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate.
