IS Security Architect

Insight Global is looking for an IS Security Architect to join a dynamic team for an employer in Vancouver, BC. This person will develop, document, and maintain an enterprise security architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and industry standards. The successful candidate will conduct security risk assessments to either eliminate or mitigate risk, collaborating with other IT groups to ensure hardening configurations are implemented for brand new and existing platforms and applications based on CIS. Day to day activities will also include:
Review technologies in cross-functional groups to protect the organization and enhance digital operational capabilities
Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the SDLC
Ensure recommended solutions comply with PCI-DSS and NIST standards
Lead the design and evaluation of network architectures, applications, and cloud-based environments
Investigate security incidents and collaborate on post-incident reviews, offering recommendations for remediation and prevention
Ensure the security practices fit within business goals and the cybersecurity roadmap
