Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define a planning strategy that includes a full list of activities that are important for the management of project, to decide on a project delivery methodology (waterfall, agile, etc.), and to align with stakeholders. Each day, you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver the Information Systems (IS) project outcomes within agreed time, scope, cost, and agreed quality. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating appropriate information to stakeholders promptly to achieve desired understanding and support and effectively managing stakeholders' expectations and relationships. The work model for the role is #LI#Onsite This role is contributing to the IS Services globally.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tSuccessfully lead delivery of IS projects according to waterfall, iterative and agile methodologies.•\tFollow specific ABB IS Project Management standards and governance mechanisms.•\tManage all aspects of the project to agreed-upon customer requirements. Effectively monitor and control project progress, proactively manage and mitigate project risks. Achieve project deliverables and compliance with customer requirements. Ensure successful closure of the project on project completion and capture and document lessons learned. •\tCollaborate closely with IS and Business stakeholders, manage stakeholders’ expectations and relationship.•\tOrganize and work remotely with virtual teams.

Qualifications for the role

\tMaster Degree in Computer Science or related. \tAt least 10-15 years of proven experience in managing IT projects delivery.\tCommunicate professionally in English both in written and verbal form.\tCertifications in project management (PMI/PMP, Scrum, etc.) as a plus.\tDemonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas: ERP Systems, Finance Systems, Compliance.\tA collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
