Description Overview The IS Project Manager leads and oversees IS software projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet scope, timelines, and budget requirements. They collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria, while developing detailed plans and schedules. The role involves monitoring progress, managing budgets, and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager also facilitates communication among stakeholders, guides cross-functional teams, and contributes to the improvement of PMO processes. Additionally, they ensure compliance with information security policies and maintain consistent attendance at meetings and training sessions. The successful applicant will have a hybrid work arrangement from our downtown NY headquarters, and the position's starting annual salary range is $105,000 - $115,000, with a 10% annual incentive opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Lead and manage IT projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met while collaborating with stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria. + Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation, providing regular updates on status and escalating issues when needed. + Monitor project progress, manage budgets, track expenses, and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery. + Facilitate communication among stakeholders, align project goals, and lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle. + Contribute to PMO processes, continuous improvement, and post-project reviews to refine practices and identify best practices. + Ensure adherence to information security policies and maintain reliable attendance, attending meetings and training as required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent mix of education and Informational Technology experience; minimum of 7 years of related work experience; including a minimum of 4 years working in the role of Project Management; experience managing multiple projects concurrently; or equivalent mix of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES + Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, PMBOK). + Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana). + Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Skill in negotiation and conflict resolution to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve issues. + Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and emerging technologies.
