Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to bridge the gap between the technical environment and the business. Each day, you will use data analytics to assess processes and outline problems, opportunities, and solutions, to support decisions for new or changed Information Systems (IS) solutions or services. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting constantly in the continual service improvement process.The work model for the role is: OnsiteYou will be mainly accountable for:• Keeps up to date and informed of any changes(s), or planned change(s), in the ABB corporate IS enterprise architecture and ABB IS strategy.• Provides business analysis for a specific business function or area within an organization, supplying technical and business process / data expertise and supports decisions for new or changed IS solutions/services within scope.• Applies related business processes knowledge to shape and align IS solution/services to build and deliver activities.• Identifies and prioritizes functional requirements.• Defines solutions functionally, leveraging best practices, to fulfill customer requirements.• Selects, adopts, and adapts appropriate business analysis methods, tools, and techniques.• Conducts advanced modelling activities for significant change programs.• Collects and translates requirements for projects and changes into specifications for internal and external delivery parties.• Supports and engages ABB business / function as a product owner upon qualification of the business request for assigned service(s).• Supports the Operations Manager in incident and problem planning and resolution when business or functional verification is required.• Confirms (on request) whether the delivered solution meets the actual specification within User Acceptance Tests (UAT).• Involves and supports constantly in the continual service improvement process.• Assists in the management, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS Services.• Ensures adherence to corporate IS policies and procedures, as well as to internal regulations and external legislation that fall within their own area of responsibility.• Executes all actions in IS processes for assigned tasks, according to agreed RACI specification(s).• Ensures that a framework of policies, standards, processes, and practices is in place to guide provision of IT services.• Assures alignment of ABB IS strategy to core, business, and functional strategies.• Collaborates with senior stakeholders and individuals across the service line to define costs, estimate efforts for IS solutions/services development, change requests, and releases, pre-qualify and prioritize change requests, and maintain a view of upcoming demand within the services in scope.• Provides leadership, guidance, or support to temporary work teams, through advising and monitoring task completion without carrying line responsibility.• Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility to define solutions and ensure alignment.

Qualifications for the role

Minimum 2 years business experience Diploma in IT, database, or computer science Process Improvement & Optimization Project Management Service and Operation Management Agile Methodology Business Analysis IT Management
