Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Developer for TM1 Planning & Budgeting application, you will work in a fast-paced, international environment solving complex problems, strengthening our business analysis capabilities and growing together with the rapidly developing business. You’ll provide your TM1 applications expertise in all phases of the software development life cycle while focusing on building models that scale over time while balancing accuracy, flexibility and speed.This position requires a high level of technical expertise within IBM TM1/Planning Analytics and remote-based or hybrid options in US, CA, or MX locations will be considered for exceptional developers.The main responsibilities include: •\tProvide delivery and support of TM1 - Budgeting, Planning & Reporting solutions by managing all software development phases including requirements definition, technical design, development, testing, deployment, integration, training and documentation.•\tCollaborate with functional teams to develop solutions that streamline business planning processes and alleviate manual processes.•\tCollaborate with functional teams to support the strategic roadmap as we roll out TM1 for various business areas across the organization•\tWork closely with the other IS teams to ensure that there are IT Controls firmly established•\tDevelop scorecards and executive dashboards•\tIdentify process improvement opportunities to drive business performance•\tDesign and build integration with other business systems & technologies (e.g. SAP, PowerBI, Data Warehouses, etc.)•\tProvide ad hoc analysis and support related to projects, opportunities, or issues as they incur.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.Must have 3+ years of direct experience in IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics application including coding, system configuration management, model building and development of reports or dashboards.Advanced knowledge and expertise with SQL, OLAP, and data warehousing concepts is required.Relevant corporate Finance experience required with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting functions and related processes.Experience in managing & supporting the TMI planning application in a cloud-based environment strongly preferredExperience with creating a reporting resolution in a data lake/Datawarehouse env, with a focus on financial planning & budgeting functionality is a plusExperience in environments that leverage formal software development methodologies is preferred
