The role of the Irrigation Technician is to maintain the lawns and irrigation systems on The Resort at Paws Up property. What We Offer: + Career Development and Advancement Opportunities + Employee Assistance Program (5 free counseling sessions) + Referral Bonus Program (Get paid $250 to recruit) + Carpool Reimbursement ($5-$20/Day) + Employee Discounts on Merchandise (30% on select items in our retail store) + Employee lunch provided See for Yourself! https://youtu.be/OMstfigzWXk?si=VLVEQDaAGChmD9it The Primary Functions are: + Identification and repair of broken irrigation pipes, sprinklers, valves, etc. + Actively learn and follow how to use and program the different types of irrigation control systems on property. + Adjust arc and rotation of sprinklers to ensure proper watering coverage. + Perform routine checks of different areas and systems to ensure proper function. + Routinely conduct inventory on all irrigation stock and create lists of shortages for ordering to keep supplies replenished. + Order irrigation and landscaping supplies as needed using the Resort’s purchasing procedures. + Maintain water features such as ponds, fountains, aerators, and pumps + Participate in the planning, mapping and installation of new irrigation systems. + Maintain daily records of repairs performed in each location. + Use company tools, vehicles, equipment safely and respectfully. Report damage or problems to department Manager. + Perform hand digging, lifting, and physical work where needed. + Operate light maintenance equipment authorized by Manager. + Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas and equipment. + Keep Landscaping Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate. + Schedule staff according to volume of business; understand how to flex when necessary to meet labor expectations; ability to adjust daily operations to be in line with the budget. + Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Irrigation team members; actively promote, train, coach, and recognize performance. + Submit future goals, operational improvements, and personnel management to Landscaping Manager. + Complete all Landscaping duties as assigned.
