As an Interventional Radiology Tech at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our imaging team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
Responsible for the operation of Angiographic and interventional equipment.Performs vascular/interventional radiography procedures resulting in quality patient care and radiographic images necessary for diagnosis of disease and/or treatment.Obtains consent, and requests an accurate clinical history as necessary for the exam.Reviews patient history and determines proper selection of protocols.Explains method of examination and positions patient.Assesses the patients status and needs, completes appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patients on-going condition, and performs the necessary interventions.Reviews and evaluates completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered. Ensures quality images.Coordinates the preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners.Prepares and administers contrast according to Radiologist protocol- Documents and communicates patient related information thoroughly and accurately. Informs patient of physician’s instructions or ancillary caregiver’s observations or concerns and takes same into consideration in providing appropriate care.Minimum Qualifications
Current Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current Radiologic Technology License with Montana Board of Radiologic TechnologistsCurrent BLS certification or ability to obtain within three months of hireOne year diagnostic radiology experience, requiredPreferred Qualifications
