Job DescriptionThe Role:The Investor Services Senior Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of a team, ensuring that daily processes are reviewed and signed off in accordance with our procedures. The successful candidate will be a point of escalation for all clients and directs issue resolution and process changes to support our clients. The candidate will proactively identify risk-related issues through review of qualitative and quantitative data, anticipate team obstacles and plan for mitigating solutions. They will be responsible for ensuring staff allocation to clients to ensure our clients are receiving the appropriate levels of coverage. Client focus will form a core part of your role, with the consistent delivery of a high-quality client experience being a priority at all times.The candidate will be expected to perform to a high standard all tasks detailed belowResponsibilities: Serve as a key escalation contact for a range of clients.Oversee all daily deliverables such as cash recs and daily nav’s including the preparation and dissemination of statements and contract notes.Ensure all key daily deliverables have been met.Ensure all investor trades for daily, weekly, monthly funds.Review and approve outgoing wires >5mmAct as primary contact for both client and investor queries and act as host for client service calls and monthly board calls.Ensure all established Investor Services daily processing procedures and controls are completed accurately and in a timely mannerParticipate in new fund launches and conversionsReview fund documentation and set up fund and investor records in the shareholder register systemGain a comprehensive understanding of performance fee methodsHelp with the coaching and mentoring of new employees and existing team members.Gain an understanding of all funds across the team to provide coverage when requiredIdea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service modelMaintain a good working relationship with external clients as well as with internal relationship managers and other business units within UBSGFSI;Support the development and implementation of departmental procedures.Requirements: Minimum of 7 years Investor Services experienceAn in depth understanding of Equalisation, Share Series and Private Equity Performance Fee mechanismsMinimum 3 years’ experience of managing a team of 5 or more peopleGood interpersonal skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsExcellent client service skillsAttention to detailExperience of reviewing Fund Offering documentsFund launch and conversion experienceAttention to detailAbility to prioritise key tasks in a fast-moving environmentExperience in mutual / hedge / PE fundsExperience in the manual input and review of domestic and international payments.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.
