Job Description
Brookfield Real Estate is looking for a motivated, organized individual to own the coordination and execution of quarterly deliverables and ongoing investor support for Brookfield’s U.S. core-plus, single-family rental and Opportunity Zone strategies. The role will report to a Senior Associate, Investors Relations in New York. The position sits within the team responsible for all of Brookfield’s real estate private funds investor relations activities globally.
Responsibilities:
Own the coordination and preparation of investor reports, presentations and communications including:
Quarterly fund investor reports
Quarterly call presentations
Quarterly case studies
Annual meeting presentations
Investor meeting materials
Deliver high-quality ad-hoc reports, presentations and communications
Provide ongoing support for existing investors, including monitoring and responding promptly to questions and requests
Execute investor requests that require liaising with internal investment and portfolio management teams
Remain current on activities occurring within funds, including acquisitions/dispositions, key business plan changes and performance metrics
Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of experience working in private funds investor relations, capital markets or investment banking
Preference for real estate experience
Preference for experience with open-end strategies
Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills
Creative prowess to translate complicated financial data into a simple story / message
Superior organizational skills with great attention to detail
Willingness and capability to take ownership of deliverables and execute to completion
Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines
Advanced working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
