Position Summary: This full-time, in-person position provides analytic & operational support for our asset management business, ranging from investment proposals, application & service paperwork, client portfolio analytics, and trade execution. This role is expected to have some degree of client interaction and requires a friendly and congenial personality. Daily duties will vary, and candidate should have a demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize on the fly. This role is a direct support to the chief investment officer, and assists daily operations of the practice, including, but not limited to: preparing forms, drafting investment proposals and portfolio recommendations, executing trades, gathering information from clients and prospects, providing investment commentary to advisors, and assisting in routine periodic investment research and analytics.
Salary Range: $65,000-85,000
Annual Bonus: Up to 10% based on individual & team performance

Position Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Conduct comparative analysis of prospect’s portfolio against proprietary model allocationsWork with advisors and staff to tailor investment solutions to client needsFacilitate timely and accurate execution of tradesImplement model portfolio changes across client accountsAdminister periodic investment and distribution plansPrepare and execute routine administrative paperwork such as new account applications, asset transfers and service formsObtain customer financial information for use in financial planning & product applicationsComplete or delegate client service requests as receivedAssist in due diligence process, including fund research, model maintenance, and performance attribution analysisVerbal or written communication with prospective or existing customers regarding financial mattersArticulate our investment philosophy and recommendations to advisors and/or their clientsRequirements:
Position Qualifications
College degree or 5 years of prior financial service experience strongly preferred.Series 7, Series 66, and MN L/H/A insurance licensedCFP®, CFA®, or CIMA® preferredCompetencies
Familiarity with Modern Portfolio TheoryPrior experience with Morningstar, Money Guide Pro, or comparable software preferredStrong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Visual Basic/Excel macro programming experience preferredStrong communication skills (written & verbal)Ability to multi-task and prioritizeEffective and efficient time managementSelf-motivatedExternal/Internal Dependencies
Coordinate investment strategy implementation with advisors and paraplanners.Stay updated on investment strategies through webinars and appointments with investment firm representatives.Must be able to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, and their professional support team (advisors, accountants, attorneys, etc).As part of The Myers' recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
