Citibank, N.A. seeks an Investment Finance Specialist Senior Group Manager for its Miami, Florida location.
Duties: Provide Senior Credit Officer approval authority to cover large and complex lending underwriting and capital commitments to clients. Lead a group of Underwriters within credit analysis, documentation, risk identification, exposure monitoring related to lending activities. Provide structured lending solutions. Structure, execute, and maintain structured lending facilities for existing and prospective clients and their private investment companies. Perform financial analysis to review credit analyses prepared by team. Provide senior credit approval authority to cover large and complex structured lending underwritings and capital commitments for clients. Manage transactions and portfolios and conduct wholesale credit transaction negotiations. Structure, underwrite and monitor derivative transactions to hedge market risk from client transactions. Evaluate and challenge Product Program Checklist and Guidelines and Risk Rating scorecards. Ensure loan covenant requirements are enforced, and work on restructurings. Prepare forecasting and stress testing models. Provide strategic insights, identify macroeconomic and regulatory issues, and assess the impact of such issues on the various risk families, including operational and franchise risks. Execute business strategy and ensure adherence to regulatory mandates and applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Partner with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class client solutions. Identify issues associated with portfolio quality and trends. Allocate risk assets and risk capital in partnership with banking and credit product organizations. Ensure the metrics around annual reviews, extensions, covenant compliance and documentation and other control metrics are well managed within acceptable limits. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Credit Officer, Senior Credit Officer, Credit Risk Group Manager, Senior Analyst, or related position involving credit underwriting, analyzing and approving structured lending solutions. 6 years of experience must include: Approving corporate/commercial loans; Financial structuring and execution; Commercial Real Estate underwriting within the Mexican market; Applying knowledge of derivatives; Managing teams in a global matrix environment; and Applying knowledge of Financial Analysis including spreading and cash flow modeling tools.
