What is the opportunity?

We are seeking an Associate to play a critical role in building our platform within our US Investment Banking division. Associates will work with Analysts in the development of pitch books and related client materials. Associates will also be heavily involved in transaction execution, new business presentations and client meetings.

What will you do?

Transaction execution, new business presentations and meetings, and other such dutiesWorking with Analysts in development of pitch books and related client materialsProactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the businessReview and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activitiesEscalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis

What is needed for success?

Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA or MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance/accountingMinimum of one year of Investment Banking experience and previous experience in the Consumer & Retail space is highly desiredSolid understanding of capital markets and spreadsheet modelingOutstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accountingHighly motivated with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requestsAbility to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong teaming skillsStrong written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of organizationMust maintain high standards of professional and ethical conductSeries 79 & 63 licensedValue and possess strong competency in the following behaviors: Collaboration, Relationship Building, Communication, Integrity and Operating with Diverse and Inclusive Mindset

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $175,000 - $225,000 depending on class year and factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
