What You Will Do:
Oversight of the Escape Management Process(s) for the assigned organization: Customer Return Process.Problem Resolution Team (PRTs) for escapes and Clinic Assists for high pain organizational issues (Cost, delivery, quality, EH&S, etc.).Improve RCCA proficiency throughout assigned organization.Drive personal and team improvement in RCCA competency.Participate in Quality Clinic and RCCA Discipline process improvement events.Foster and maintain cooperative relationship with Program Quality, Product Recall, DCMA, and leverage clinic to clinic interaction across the enterprise.Provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.Receive in parts on a daily basis while producing MCAB data. Participate and help facilitate MCAB meeting by understanding the process and nonconformance trends.Investigate and analyze any hardware/assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues by reviewing procedures, specifications, instructions, processes, and equipment to ensure compliance to applicable drawing, specifications, and standards in an effort to resolve Quality and Delivery concerns.Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the P&W Management team and oversee quality improvement programs which can include Clinic / Escape Metrics and a Control Tower. Obtain and Maintain Quality Clinic, individual certifications, and proficiency health.Qualifications You Must Have:
BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Familiarity with 8D & RCCA is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We Prefer:
Masters degree preferred. Solid understanding of conventional Quality related inspection, NDT, CMM, calibration and other machine shop inspection process and procedures.Strong Experience in manage Quality Management Systems and user of MRP/ERP/ SAP systems used in production control, planning, manufacturing execution, clinic and MRB.Solid understanding of Aerospace Quality requirements. Ability to understand and interpret engineering technical data, such as manufacturing or part drawings, to provide guidance to cross functional teams.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, strong presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills.Resiliency when dealing with difficult situations while divergently thinking of ways to achieve desired results.Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations regulatory requirements or work experience with government regulatory agencies.Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, & ISO. Ability to process and communicate information using MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, external customers, and government agencies.
