Job Description

About the role:

The Material Planning II position is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services necessary for various business processes. This role ensures that materials are sourced, suppliers are selected, and orders are processed efficiently to support the organization's operations.

How you will contribute:

Ingress, stock, and discard of raw materials, spare parts, chemicals, and consumables.

Performs cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and material scrap.

Compile inventory records from EBM, and JDE Systems. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories.

Coordination with Warehouse for deliveries of materials, consumables, paste, and plasma

Manage supplies for manufacturing labs and process work areas.

Navigate software and hardware used by Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments.

May support in regulatory and inter-company audits.

What you bring to Takeda:

High school diploma or equivalent required with 0-3 years of work experience, preferred in related manufacturing field, Warehouse Logistics or technical field.

Strong computer skills.

Working knowledge of ERP and/or WMS systems. JDE/SAP a plus.

Basic math skills required.

Excellent attention to detail required.

Good written and communication skills.

JDE & WMS knowledge.

Good computer skills.

Important Considerations

At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:

Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.  

Continuous standing for 10 -12 hours.

Frequently or constantly lift, carry push, pull, or move objects and repetitive motions.

Maybe required to work in a confined area.

Some clean room and cool/hot storage conditions.

Subject to inside environmental conditions.

Maybe required to work in confined spaces.

May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.

Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.

May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.

May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

Must be able to work multiple shifts, including weekends if needed/required.

Must be able to work overtime when required.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range:

$16.15 - $25.38

The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives.
