Inventory Specialist
**Job Title: Inventory Specialist** **Responsibilities** + Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments. + Organize and maintain inventory and non-inventory items in the warehouse. + Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts. + Update inventory records in the inventory management system. + Coordinate with other departments to fulfill orders and manage stock levels. + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. + Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed. + Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory. + Manage and maintain department metrics. + Evaluate inventory discrepancies and propose corrective action plans to minimize re-occurrence. + Perform other assigned duties by department manager. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 2 years of experience as an Inventory Specialist. + Experience with inventory management software. + Proficiency in barcode scanning systems. + Ability to perform data analysis and identify trends. + Knowledge of supply chain and logistics best practices. + Proficiency with MS Office (Excel / Word). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Comfortable lifting and moving heavy objects as necessary. + Experience with Lean Sigma Training preferred. + Experience with PowerBI preferred. **Work Environment** You will be working in a clean room facility. The role involves handling inventory and utilizing inventory management software, barcode scanning systems, and RF scanners. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ventura, California. **Schedule** 1st Shift Opportunity **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
