As an Inventory Optimization Project Lead in the Merchandising Function, your main responsibility will be the implementation and roll out of SmartStore for the region from a merchandising point of view. Your role will be in the Regional Inventory and Optimization function but work broadly and have touchpoints with many different functions, both internal and external. In this role, you will work in a high paced environment and we are looking for someone who can handle multiple deliverables simultaneous.
Key responsibilities:
SmartStore project roll out responsible from Merchandising department in project stores Plan store capacity within project scopeSet income, allocation & exit strategy plan for project storesEnsure that project stores are maintained according to capacity managementTake actions on performing and non-performing inventory (pushes, first allocation, stops, exit strategies etc.) Set in store replenishment scope through IDQ (Ideal Display Quantity)Ability to travel and work closely with project stores teamsCoach and support project stores with the new ways of working related to capacity management and in store replenishmentTight collaboration with global functions and gather learnings from project storesSemi-frequent business travel will be requiredQualificationsTo be successful in the role as Inventory Optimization Project Lead, we believe you are customer and sales-driven professional with a strategic mindset. You are a detail-oriented professional with expertise in inventory management, data analysis, and with a strong supply chain understanding.
What you need to succeed:
Strong retail knowledge and operational best practices/ routines for physical store Experience within merchandising or a sales function is beneficial Experience with allocation, replenishment and other inventory management systems is meriting Strong communication skillsExperienced in project management meriting Strategic thinking, ability to set a vision and drive it towards colleagues Like taking responsibility and enjoy working in a changing environment cross- functionally Ability to run analyzes, make conclusions and set action plan based on thatProficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint Very good written and spoken EnglishAdditional InformationThis is a full-time position with local temporary contract for 1-2 years duration, located in Warsaw, Poland. The Inventory Optimization Project Lead is part of the Merchandising Department and reports to Inventory and Optimization Manager.
