The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. **Responsibilities** **Position Summary:** The Inventory Manager has the overall responsibility of overseeing finished goods and raw material inventory levels by establishing and maintaining inventory strategies, projecting and monitoring inventory levels with a focus on maintaining optimal stock levels while minimizing costs and maximizing product availability for sales or production. This role will require collaboration with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement and Sales/BU teams and is a critical role to the delivery of business objectives within Supply Chain and for 8th Ave. **Duties and Responsibilities:** Inventory Planning: Develop and implement an inventory planning strategy based on volume and customer SKU segmentation for finished goods to optimize stock levels factoring in production requirements, demand forecasting, and storage capacity. Ensure the inventory strategy meets or exceeds agreed upon customer service levels. Inventory Monitoring: Continuously project, monitor and assess inventory levels based on statistical safety stock model, identifying potential shortages, overages, and obsolete materials. KPI Monitoring: Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, including stock turns, fill rates, E&O, and inventory accuracy. Excess, Aging & Obsolete Management: Identify, assess, and manage excess, aging and obsolete inventory (finished goods and raw material) to reduce costs. Lead and facilitate regular discussions with cross functional stakeholders to drive actions to mitigated aging inventory. SKU Rationalization: Lead and/or participate in SKU rationalization activities in partnership with Sales/Commercialization teams. Product Life Cycle: Lead and/or participate in product life cycle management activities for the phase-in of new products and discontinuation of end-of-life SKUs – coordinating with other functions to maximize service and minimize inventory risks. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and provide insights to the supply chain team and management regarding performance, trends, root cause analysis and areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement within inventory planning process, and make recommendations for implementation. Partner with IT to develop new or improve existing inventory reports at various levels based on the needs of the business. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Competencies / Skills/ Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze and translate supply chain and inventory data to drive critical business decisions. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects with little to no supervision. Strong business ethics and judgment. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau. **Education and Experience Required:** Bachelor’s degree from a four (4) year college or university in supply planning, business or related field of study, along with 5+ years of recent inventory planning and replenishment planning experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with advanced planning systems, such as JD Edwards or Logility. Experience working with multiple business areas (ex: Supply Chain, Operations, etc.). Experience in the Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Industry preferred. Certification / Licenses: Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License. **Physical Requirements:** This position is regularly required to communicate with others, both oral and written. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel: This position may travel up to 5% of the time.
