Catalent Cell & Gene Therapy is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) with an internationally recognized tradition of quality and service. Catalent Pharma Solutions in Harmans, MD is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist who will maintain the inventory for the engineering team. Accomplished by ordering, tracking, and supplying necessary parts, tools, and equipment while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. Metrics will be maintained to ensure robust inventory maintenance, drive vendor accountability, reduce costs, and support reliability calculations.
**This is a full-time, salaried role. This is onsite. The core hours are Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 4:00PM.**

**The Role**
+ Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory is consumed;
+ Establishes and maintains backup source for high-demand items;
+ Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify improvements to the inventory management process;
+ Provides inventory metrics to Engineering Management;
+ Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors and internal SME;
+ Maintains accurate daily records of engineering storage status;
+ Manages and maintains inventory system in Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager;
+ Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory;
+ Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits;
+ Partners with Reliability Engineers and Engineering Management to develop kitting process to support Preventive Maintenance and high-frequency Responsive Maintenance tasks;
+ All other duties as assigned;
**The Candidate**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required;
+ Experience with computerized inventory system or CMMS required. Blue Mountain Ram is a plus.
+ Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. Previous warehouse or inventory management experience, specifically with spare parts in a factory is preferred;
+ Familiar with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);
+ Excellent communication skills in order to work cross functionally with engineering team, procurement department, and outside vendors;
+ Extremely organized, strong attention to detail and able to work with minimum supervision;
+ Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors and internal equipment SME;
+ Ability to perform basic math calculations;
+ Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds;
**The Pay**
+ The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $58,240-80,000. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states
