Inventory Control Specialist

Description
The Inventory Control Specialist will:
- Be responsible for the majority of lab ordering, receipt, delivery, and tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels of consumable items for all departments.
- Submit and track purchase orders in the purchasing system (Coupa) to maintain inventory levels and support production and services.
- Receive ordered items in systems and submit paperwork to Finance to process invoices and payment.
- Provide support to the laboratory departments in the identification, cost, management, and acquisition of materials.
- Address ongoing issues related to material availability.
- Manage all specialized and standard materials.
- Receive items electronically on a daily and as-needed basis.
- Physically deliver packages to specific people and locations multiple times throughout the day.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-3 years of inventory control/purchasing experience
- 1+ year working in a laboratory PLUS
- A bachelor's degree in a science PLUS
- Candidate must be able to lift at least 45 pounds on a routine basis as a part of their job function.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00
