Inventory Control Specialist – Central Procurement

Summary:
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties.

Key Responsibilities:Support all our inventory control functions. Ensuring each area is managed effectively, including managing the category managers to follow upLead day to day activities and functions of the inventory control coordinatorEnsure that all outside warehouses are reconciled by warehouse on scheduleOversee 100% of CP’s productions, established procedures and processes, ensuring that proper procedures are being adhered toEnsure packaging requirements are integrated with indirect spend to ensure effective management Periodically Audit PO receiving proceduresSet up and maintain global product groups in APC, on all ongoing processed itemsMonitor inventory shrink goalsManage period end balances, packaging and outside storageConduct supply counts and adjustmentsManage all location warehouses, reconciled by periodMonitor and communicate rotation issuesInventory control to receive all purchase ordersCall negative report adjustmentsCase no weight report adjustmentsNegative quantity report adjustmentsWork in a manner that promotes safety firstManage and update overstock/discontinue list and distribute weeklyManage CP invoicingCross train to cover CP DC buyer and Key Accounts coordinator Promote and work to help move off overstock/discontinue inventoryEnsure our sample slot and upstairs sample freezers are organized monthly Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required:

High school diploma/GED equivalentTwo or more years related experiencePreferred:Associates degree (A.A.) from accredited collegeSalary Range: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 annually
