Summary:Loads, unloads, and moves materials within plant, , by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform daily counts of inventory/or reconciliationMonitors the placement of finished goodsMaintain a high level of Quality AssurancePerforms various duties throughout the department in order to expedite pulling orders and shipping finished goods, Maintaining quality standards and ensure efficiencyReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be movedLoads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by handConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areaCleans immediate work area and ensures strict organization of all racksCounts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheetAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on casesOperates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. Back flush work orders -transferInspect forklift and complete P.M. (Preventative Maintenance) SheetMust be able to work in a fast-paced and busy environmentOther duties as assignedEDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have one year related experienceMust be familiar with Microsoft officeMust have good math skills.Must have great communication skills.Preference given to experience with Excel, File Maker Pro, and/or QAD.Must be able to use a staple gun and build crates.Must be able to operate the foam machine.Must have a forklift license.Must be willing to work overtime with short notice.Some weekend work may be requiredWatts in it for you:
