Position Overview:
Under the direction of the facility Director, the East Coast Warehouse Inventory Control Associate is responsible for assisting with the inventory control and reconciliation duties and functions. Other duties will be to keep records of inventory, monitor and manage shipments, coordinate with vendors, check stocks of items, conduct data entry, and assist with overall organization of product. This position requires a precise eye for detail and unwavering loyalty to find resolution.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for performing daily inventory transactions and data entry
· Keep accurate inventory records of transactions and communications as needed
· Generate, verify, and reconcile inventory counts
· Locate physical products for various departments
· Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
· Perform other inventory control-related functions and duties as required
· Prepare facility and staff for yearly physical inventory
· Prepare facility for yearly inventory audit
· Verify accessory inbound and outbound shipments
· Perform parts cycle count
· Other projects as needed.
RequirementsEducation:
· High school degree or equivalent required
Experience:
· Experience as an inventory control clerk or similar warehouse position preferred
· Familiarity with inventory management software such as SAP is preferred
Other Requirements:
· Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required
· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
· Strong problem-solving skills
