Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Houston, Texas. This role is vital to our operations, focusing on maintaining accurate inventory details and supporting our Merchandising Team with administrative tasks. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores and website by keeping our purchasing and inventory records up-to-date. Responsibilities: • Accurately set up and maintain items within NetSuite • Enter and keep Purchase Orders information current • Establish and sustain communication with vendor partners to monitor purchase order shipping progress • Compare and verify data for items/purchase orders with source documents or business partners • Ensure vendor cost and retails are updated and adhere to the expectations set by the Merchandising team • Maintain current vendor contact information • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Merchandising team. Requirements • Job Title: Inventory Clerk • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management or similar roles. • Proficiency in using NetSuite software for inventory management. • Demonstrated skills in merchandise planning and presentation. • Experience as a buyer in a retail or similar environment. • Strong data entry skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with vendors and team members. • Ability to analyze and solve problems related to inventory management. • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and best practices. • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks related to inventory management.
