Our client, a large manufacturer in Swedesboro, NJ, is seeking an experienced Inventory Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory levels and maintaining accurate stock records.

Responsibilities:

Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.Develop and implement effective inventory control systems and practices.Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality stock purchases and negotiate terms.Coordinate logistics for purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.Forecast supply and demand requirements to maintain optimal stock availability.Track inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and stockouts.Analyze supply chain data to identify and resolve issues.Generate purchase and pricing reports, conduct supply chain analysis, and manage inventory systems.Perform regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.Maintain and update records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or a similar field.Proficiency in inventory management software, such as Frog Leap.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Forklift experience required, including reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.Strong understanding of inventory management practices, including ABC analysis and cycle counting.Excellent analytical and logistical thinking abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Exceptional collaboration and negotiation skills.Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.

Schedule and Compensation:

Monday to Friday7:00 AM to 5:00 PM$19.00 to $21.00 per hour
