Location/Division Specific Information

This role sits within the Logistics team and will be based at our Scoresby, Melbourne site. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity with the option of offering hybrid working conditions.

About the Role:

Lead all aspects of co-ordinating international product flows for ANZ for one of our core and critical business units. You'll drive documentation, process, and system compliance as it pertains to international inbound and outbound product flows; including cold chain, dangerous goods, high value and critical instruments as well as general ambient products. You'll also use your skills and experience to innovate and drive positive change to improve existing processes and co-ordinate and support all functions related to the importing, clearance and delivery of international freight into all ANZ sites, or direct to our customers.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the key responsible and ANZ SME for international inbound logistics for the Life Sciences BusinessesCoordinate with international factories to support and optimize inbound freight planningLead and drive international inbound logistics and local brokerage partners to complete day-to-day inbound functionsUnderstand and drive CX improvements through the execution of the International Logistics function and support the Customer Service teamMaintain, overview, and sign off for all international invoices and insurance claimsOwn the inbound international support function for drop ship or project-based international activitiesCoordinate the document processing/system update requirements for the effective receipt of productsAct as a resolution facilitator for incomplete or incorrect documentation and information for processing activities.Collaborate with all internal team members and external parties to achieve the best results for the product flow

Keys to Success:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Skills and Experience:At least 3+ years industry work experience within a similar Supply Chain/International Logistics role. Candidates who have worked within a Life Sciences, Cold Chain, or temperature-controlled environments will have an added advantageMust be organized and logical, willing to adapt quickly to change with a talent for problem-solvingEngage with the team in a sophisticated work setting, nurture clear communication with colleagues and clients, and ensure tasks are completed accuratelyMust have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, and be familiar with other pertinent generic business and ERP softwareExcellent interpersonal skills - both written and verbal - with strong organizational and documentation skills

Other Job Requirements:Enforce to OHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and balanced workplace environmentAlign with the Chain of Responsibility obligations under the Australian Heavy Vehicle National LawParticipation in on-call work may be required, with remuneration per the Company’s policy
