Inventory Analyst

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the aeroderivative power solutions industry for an Inventory Analyst based in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves managing, analyzing, and optimizing inventory processes and transactions to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Optimizing inventory procedures and ensuring transactions are processed accurately.
• Conducting comprehensive analysis of stock counts, movements, and variances.
• Preparing detailed reports on inventory transactions and presenting regular updates.
• Identifying system errors, trends, and risks to propose operational improvements.
• Ensuring data accuracy through regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Supporting financial audits by monitoring slow-moving inventory.
• Performing reconciliations and journal entries as part of month-end accounting activities.
• Collaborating with teams to enhance inventory management and promote efficiency. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Inventory Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficient in Month End Close processes.
• Demonstrated skills in Project Accounting.
• Experience with Inventory Accounting is required.
• Must have strong capabilities in Inventory Analysis.
• Proficiency in Inventory Forecasting is desirable.
• Knowledge of Inventory Tracking systems is essential.
