INTERVENTIONAL TECHNOLOGIST

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Interventional Technologist is responsible for preparing examination rooms, equipment, performing special procedures and other radiologic procedures, processing films, assisting in the education of Radiography students, providing care and assisting in the orientation process of new associates. The Interventional Technologist works with other healthcare members to provide quality patient care. They assist in various non-radiologic technology work areas to provide efficient operations of the care center. The Interventional Technologist must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age, developmental age, and/or psych-social maturity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
High school diploma or GED required.  
Completion of certified radiology program required.

Required length of experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
Interventional radiology preferred by not necessary.
Basic computer skills required.

Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
Completion of Certified Radiology program, ARRT certification, CVRT certification preferred.
Current State of Ohio licensure and current CPR certification.
*Responsible for own continuing education requirements to maintain licensure/certifications.
