Sentara Rockingham Memorial is hiring an Interventional Tech for a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA. This is a 4 Ten hour shift schedule 0700-1730 with required call one day per week, and every 4th weekend.

Up to 15,000 sign on bonus available for qualified candidates!

Must live within 30 minutes of the facility for STEMI Call requirements.

Cardiac Cath Information:

The Cardiac Cath at the Heart and Vascular Center offers invasive cardiology procedures (structural heart, Mitro and TAVR) and cardiothoracic surgery services. This area is growing rapidly, seeing 1,400 diagnostic and 450 interventional procedures annually. The Interventional Tech can expect around 4 procedures a day. This is a well-organized 12-person unit including RN's and Interventional Techs with a focus on education and professional growth.

The Interventional Tech performs invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician: provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply of inventory for performing examinations; participates in departmental performance improvement activities.

Requirements:

ARRT or RCIS required.1 year experience in interventional procedures preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates preferred.BLS required within 90 days of hire.ACLS required within 90 days of hire.
