The internship

The internship is within Heineken Global Procurement and is focused on the continuous improvement of the procurement process at Head Office. Together with the Head Office buyer you will play a key role in supporting the procurement activities. You will also support with communication and ensure adoption of ways of working across all the Head Office functions:

The main responsibilities would be:

Work together with Head Office buyer to monitor and review the HO procurement spend and drive correct channel management. Supporting in the design and implementation of a process to monitor and review adherence to Supplier Risk policies. Supporting the Head Office buyer in refreshing procurement guidelines to create and maintain awareness on the ways of working across all Head Office functions. Develop and implement communication plan that drives awareness and corresponding adaption of Head Office procurement principles and priorities.

 

This project will give you the opportunity to understand and to develop:

The department

You work in the Tenderdesk Team, in a team of 6, who are providing support to the Global Buyers and the 70+ HEINEKEN OpCos and contribute to building and delivering the company’s strategy.


The terms of employment

Your starting date is February 2025 The internship is fulltime (in consultation also 4 days a week possible) The duration of the internship is 5 or 6 months (in consultation with your internship supervisor) It is a practice-oriented internship You will be based in Amsterdam/Schiphol Working hybrid You will receive an internship fee of €650 (HBO/WO) You will enjoy 2 vacation days per month (based on fulltime) If you do not have a student OV product, your commuting expenses will be fully reimbursed

 

The start of your internship

Together with a diverse group of interns from different departments you will start your internship at HEINEKEN. Together you will be introduced to the organization. Furthermore, you can organize fun activities with your fellow interns.

Conditions of HEINEKEN

You are enrolled at an educational institution. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU. Physical presence at the location of your internship. We believe that you learn most when you can work directly with your colleagues. It is therefore not possible to work completely remote and HEINEKEN does not facilitate housing.
