Responsibilities We are looking for an International Tax Manager with an eagerness to drive efficiency through continuous improvement. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Tax and supports the overall Global Tax Department. In this role, the candidate will perform tax analysis and computations in accordance with ASC740, coordinate the completion of International tax calculations in MSA’s U.S. Federal income tax return, collect and assess transfer pricing results, and continue the development of processes to comply with the OECD’s Pillar Two model rules. In this role, the candidate will engage with various functions within the organization to build a dynamic network and develop a business partner approach to tax solutions. This position Includes the responsibility of a direct report as well as, but not limited to, the following responsibilities: Responsibilities: Review and/or prepare, where necessary, annual and quarterly tax provisions from foreign operations and U.S. International tax impacts. Review and/or prepare, where necessary, U.S. International income tax compliance calculations and inputs, including Subpart F, FDII, GILTI, FTC’s and informational reporting and coordinate completion of tax forms with the service provider. Review and/or prepare, where necessary, annual transfer pricing inputs, analyze and update intercompany pricing, prepare various profitability models and coordinate completion of reports with the service provider. Continue to develop and refine processes to comply with the OECD Pillar Two model rules and prepare and/or review required calculations and inputs. Manage coordination with external preparers to ensure timely filing of local affiliate returns. Provide support to the Global Tax Team in tax planning, ongoing tax issues, and impact of statutory and regulatory changes to International, federal, state, and local tax laws on the company. Supervise, evaluate and coach direct report to support continued development of tax department staff. Proactively identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline tax accounting processes and build synergies. Review and/or prepare, where necessary, uncertain tax positions and maintain statute timelines. Support SOX provision compliance and documentation. Qualifications Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP accounting for income taxes. Creative problem solving and ability to generate high quality innovative solutions. Experienced with leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions. Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform successfully in a team. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or related discipline. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master of Science in Taxation (MST). 3 years of experience in international corporate income tax. 6 or more years of corporate tax experience in a large multinational company or large public accounting firm. 10 or more years total relevant experience. Preferred: Working knowledge of SAP, Longview Tax Provision, Oracle FCCS and/or Microsoft PowerBI. Basic understanding of VAT tax. #LI-KH2 #LI-HYBRID
