Job summary: This position is primarily focused on preparing and securing all export orders which are shipped directly to GT Facilities and customers globally.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Ensure shipments are correct and meet the legal requirements of foreign customs authorities.
• Ensure ACE filings are complete for shipments for the appropriate value.
• Handle customer request, Sales Support and Global Logistics Queries
• Request licenses and free trade document approval from US Export Compliance team.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare automated data transfer from US (Bills of Lading/Internal Invoices) via Process Weaver SAP shipping platform.
• Process Advance Shipment Notice from customer portals.
Required Minimum Qualifications
• Three years’ experience within compliance and manufacturing with direct involvement in interpretation of export control and sanctions Regulations and Laws.
• Experience in either ITAR or EAR / ECJU is required.
• Experience with international trade compliance regulations is a plus.
Education/Certifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, College education preferred.
• HAZMAT certified
Skills and Experience:
• SAP proficiency
• Problem solving and decision-making ability
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• Proficiency in following computer skills: Lotus Notes, Word, Excel
• Working knowledge of customs requirements, commodity code determination, rules of origin.
• Working knowledge of ITAR requirements.
