Your Job
Work on varied topics focusing on understanding, modelling and managing risks in the context of regulatory requirements (in particular Solvency II)Develop methods and processes for risk assessment and risk reporting, with emphasis on automated and efficient processes and toolsExperience the opportunities and insights offered by one of the world's leading risk managersParticipate in an international assignment of three months to broaden your intercultural experienceAcquire profound knowledge of our business as a as well as further developing your soft skills in our distinguished global learning programmeTake the opportunity to quickly build a broad network of industry experts within Munich Re worldwide
Your Profile
Very good university degree in mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, economics or a similar degree with a quantitative backgroundInitial work experience (e.g. internships), ideally in the areas of risk management, risk modelling or actuarial data analyticsKnowledge of Solvency II is an advantageStrong analytical skills, programming skills and/or data analytics skills (e.g. R, SQL, Matlab, Power BI etc.) are very beneficialStrong interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to learnAbility and experience in communicating complex matters in a transparent and clear way, both orally and in writingFluency in spoken and written English and German required
