JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, the CT technologist operates CT equipment and cares for patients. All duties will be carried out in accordance with policies and procedures as established and approved by the Director of Imaging and the Radiology Management.

Minimum Requirements:
Graduate from a school of Radiologic Science and registered by the ARRT. All non-CT registered new hires must attain CT registry with the ARRT within the first year of hire (365 days from date of hire.) For example, if a non-CT registered, newly hired CT tech starts on January 1, that staff member has to be CT registered by December 31 (365 days later.) Failure to receive registry will result in separation of employment The CT technologist staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and posses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age - specific needs, and to provide care needed as described in the department’s Standard Operating Procedures manual*THIS POSITION IS FOR A 13-WEEK CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT*
Salary will be $75.00 per hour plus applicable shift differential Contract employees will be assigned to specific divisions. To qualify, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in that specialty area. 40 hours per week/80 hours per pay period 10-hour shifts or unit designated work hours Scheduled based on the needs of the unit This position is temporary and not eligible for benefits Hired for a 13-week contract not to exceed 26 weeks
