Internal Sales / Key Accounts - Chemical Raw Materials
Minimum requirements for the role:
Must have a matric or equivalent. Previous experience having worked in an internal sales or customer services administration role is essential for the role. Previous experience having worked for a chemical raw material company that distributes products to manufacturers is essential. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels. Must be service-orientated and have commercial drive. Good planning and execution skills. Must have excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing key accounts with large manufacturing companies supporting the external key accounts managers. Quoting prospective customers across all product ranges and providing product information where needed. Receiving and processing orders to ensure delivery and collection expectations for house account customers are met. Maintaining backorders/open and forward orders on a daily basis. Monitoring of stock levels to meet customer’s needs. Assisting with quotes and monthly pricing when needed. Following up with customers with regards to previous days' deliveries to ensure customer service and on-time in full deliveries. Communicating with customers with regard to order status, stock availability pricing etc. Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion, including account queries. Ensuring external sales are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
