We have a great opportunity for someone to work in our UK Finance team, supporting us on our journey to developing a consistent, compliant, robust internal control framework, and ensuring that all entities across the UK maintain adherence to this framework.  

Role responsibilities

Work with our group Risk function, UK and group Finance teams, and external partners to document, test and implement a robust and consistent internal control framework and target operating model for DUAL UK Finance.

Work with group and UK risk and compliance and controls teams on framework best practice, compiling training materials and tools and managing timings of roll-out.

Working with local, decentralised Finance teams to identify opportunities to standardise, centralise and simplify business processes to bring them in line with the UK target operating model, and improve the overall control environment.

Work with internal technology teams to automate and systemise controls.

Steer the updating of processes documentation and narratives as required from the framework.

Work with teams across DUAL UK on process and organisational change to ensure compliance requirements are captured.

Support our risk and compliance teams on business support and ongoing control adherence and improvement.

Partner with the business to improve culture of controls, increase effectiveness and land change to embed and improve compliance framework.

Key requirements

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

Recent experience in implementing controls testing and documentation (e.g. internal audit or financial audit, SOX implementation)

Strong project management skills – being able to finish what they begin and deliver on time.

A great communicator with a technical mindset but can communicate the message simply to a range of audiences.

A keen eye for detail, with a questioning mindset who can identify and strengthen processes.

A structured approach to workload, who can tackle multiple streams of work and improvements in a sensible and timely way, working with business process owners and multiple stakeholders to deliver change.

Someone who is happy to get hands-on with tools and the systems to understand how we can make our processes simpler, compliance integrated and reporting easier.

An influential leader within Finance and beyond Finance promoting and effecting change.
