Internal Audit Lead is responsible for executing and overseeing comprehensive audit engagements across various functions to enhance internal controls, governance, and risk management processes. The role provides critical insights to senior management, leveraging data analytics and audit expertise, while contributing to the strategic development of the Internal Audit function. Operating in an international and dynamic environment, the role demands high ethical standards, effective collaboration, and leadership capabilities.
Job ResponsibilitiesAudit Execution and Oversight:
Plan, lead, and execute complex internal audits across business functions, ensuring alignment with Vodafone’s Internal Audit Methodology and IIA Standards.Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations using data analytics.Risk Assessment and Governance:
Assess key business risks, enhance governance practices, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.Recommend improvements to operational efficiency and risk mitigation strategies.Reporting and Communication:
Deliver clear and concise audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and ExCo.Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on internal control enhancements.Who you are 6+ years in External/Internal Audit, preferably in telecommunications or technology sectors, with expertise in risk management, governance, and compliance auditing.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. A Master’s or MBA is a plus. Certifications such as CIA, CISA, or CRMA are preferred.Strong communication skills in Albanian and English.Organizational and time-management expertise with a focus on delivering quality results.High ethical standards and confidentiality.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
