Internal Audit & Compliance Manager
To direct and provide operational oversight for the Internal Audit function and oversee planning and execution of audit inspections, review and validate audit findings’ reports, ensuring the identification and delivery of corrective action plans, and escalation of repetitive irregularities and critical cases to the CEO and Board of Directors, in order to achieve Company’s mandate and achieve its strategic objectives.

Internal Audit Strategic Planning
Design and implement Internal Audit strategy and roadmap to support setting the strategy. Establish Internal Audit business plans and provide input to support the overall strategic plan and KPIs. Prioritize all audit needs and identify required resources for its execution based on the results of risk impact assessment. Internal Audit Management and Reporting
Oversee the development and implementation of Internal Audit framework (i.e., guidelines, methodologies, checklists, forms, and tools) to enable the effective execution of audit activities. Lead kick-off meetings for Internal Audit with the relevant internal stakeholders ensuring the introduction of the internal audit scope, objectives, timeframe, and the identification of required information and documents. Oversee audit inspection preliminary findings’ report, review escalated irregularities and nonconformities, and provide technical advice to the internal auditors for the resolution of findings, as required. Ensure the presentation of preliminary findings to the relevant internal stakeholders to attain the required clarifications, review justifications and supporting material, and agree on the required corrective actions. Oversee the implementation of the agreed corrective action plans within identified timeframes, and ensure the identification and addressing of highlighted disparities with the relevant stakeholders. Oversee the attainment, scoping and execution of required external Audit Services Providers (i.e., Information Technology Auditors), ensuring the review of the preliminary audit findings, validating the findings with the relevant internal stakeholders, agreeing on relevant corrective action plans and timeframes, and follow-up to ensure their resolution. Oversee the development and updating of the annual audit report, validation of its contents in collaboration with internal stakeholders and present the summary of the findings to the relevant stakeholders (e.g., Audit Committee, Top Management, Ministry of Finance, and etc.) Review and validate identified repeated irregularities, collaborate with the relevant internal stakeholders to identify, and resolve root-causes, and escalate unresolved and/or critical cases to the Audit Committee for decision making. Strategy Formulation, Implementation and Planning
As a member of the executive management team, participate in the development and refinement of the overall vision and strategy, and contribute to the overall process of corporate management and decision making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium, and long-term profitability and returns to its shareholders. In conjunction with the CEO, formulate and direct the implementation of the divisional strategy in line with Company's vision, mission, and corporate objectives. Ensure that the overall business strategy is translated into annual operational business plans across all divisions and the performance is monitored to ensure business plans are in line with the overall strategy. Budgeting and Financial Performance
Direct the preparation and consolidation of the Internal Audit department’s budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues; areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Direct the development and oversee the implementation of divisional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of function so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Auditing from a reputable university. CA/ ACAA/ CPA or equivalent certifications. Minimum Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in audit at senior executive level, of which at least 5 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities. Manufacturing/ steel industry experience is preferred. Should you not be contacted within 2 weeks please take it as declined.
