Job Summary:

In this role, you will oversee the psychology internship program, ensuring compliance with APA standards while maintaining a small clinical caseload. You will be a culture champion for the department, leading a team of Outpatient Services members and contributing to successful program operations. Your leadership will help promote community understanding of mental health and enhance responses to mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage all aspects of the psychology internship program, ensuring compliance with APA and NPTC standards.
• Maintain program fidelity, including adherence to accreditation requirements, operational guidelines, and best practices.
• Provide administrative supervision and support to interns, monitoring their progress and competencies.
• Promote a culture of inclusion, equity, and professional growth within the training program.
• Maintain a small clinical caseload, providing direct client care and modeling evidence-based practices.
• Actively participate in leadership meetings, intern development activities, and community outreach.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all client documentation.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Licensure as a psychologist in Missouri or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in clinical practice.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in program evaluation, strategic planning, and outcome measurement.
• Effective communication skills for presentations, reports, and team collaboration.

Additional Qualifications:
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Leadership and/or supervision experience required.

Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
• Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
