During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.
What You'll Be Working On
Assist in designing OCS systems, including pole foundations, structural elements, and overhead wire layouts.Support project engineers in reviewing designs, cost estimates, and schedules.Participate in project meetings, contribute to Value Engineering discussions, and help keep construction costs within budget.Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and field teams on installation and field support tasks.Education | Experience:Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering program, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.Demonstrated interest in transit and railway engineering through prior internship or applied coursework experience.Proficient in data analysis and possess strong problem-solving skills.Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bentley Rail Track.
