Job Requirements

Job Description:

The Global Safety & Environment Intern – Occupational Safety and Health Services- will provide occupational compliance and technical support to the Wilson Teams related to occupational compliance programs (high risk work, audits, and inspections, near miss and incident investigations).


Projects may include:

Assist in High Risk Work Program in permitting, implementation, and developmentAssist with GEMBAs to observe work as performed in the field versus as documentedSupport investigations identifying deviations and opportunities for improvementPerform Ergonomic evaluations and generate summary reports with sustainable recommendationsPerform Acoustical Sound evaluations and generate summary reports with sustainable recommendationsSupporting daily GEMBAs in Packaging, Warehouse, and ProjectsReviewing new / revised OSHA regulations and our Company SN updatesRevising and improving our Company Local ProgramsSupporting the Safety Team

Required Education & Experience:

Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or other technical degree.Candidate must have completed at least 2 years of college course workCandidates must be able to work full time for a period of 9-12 weeksCandidates must have critical thinking, communication, problem solving and computer skillsCandidates must have ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changesCandidates must have ability to think critically about process inefficiencies and propose solutionsCandidates must have a “go get it” and “how can I help” mindset

Preferred Experience & Skills: 

Candidates should have prior internship or work experience in EHS field or in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on packaging operationsCandidates should have ability to communicate ideas and explain decisions in a clear and understandable manner.Candidates should have ability to work in a small team
