Internships are available for qualified students studying broadcast journalism, video production, and other communication degrees. Several departments may choose to accept interns, including but not necessarily limited to: News, Creative Services, Production, and Community Development.

Internships are available for qualified students studying production or a field related to television production. Interns must receive course credit.
THIS IS AN UNPAID, SUPERVISED INTERNSHIP.
Requirements and skills:
Interns must receive college course credit.
Possess strong communication skills.
Willingness to learn.
Exposure to composing frames and camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings, studio camera operation, graphics, sound, and all aspects of working with directors and crewmembers through live newscasts.
Each internship is for 16 hours per week for 15 weeksWill be well supervised and participate in a meaningful learning experienceUpon completion of the internship, the student will be evaluated through a written review by the internship supervisorMust be senior in their last year of concentrated studyBe of advanced skill level due to complexity of projectsExpected to work two eight hour shifts per weekA collaborative worker with a willingness to learnPrevious internship experience a plus
