Intern - Mechanical Engineering
What You Will Do:

During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You'll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship by experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees. 

 

What You'll Be Working On

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on client projects, contributing to design and development processes.Work closely with engineers to understand project requirements and propose innovative solutions.Perform detailed engineering calculations and design system layouts (piping, ductwork, etc.), including equipment sizing and coordination of trades.Assist in reviewing and modifying designs based on project needs and participate in field survey work as required.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design specifications, reports, and technical drawings.Education | Experience:

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program for a bachelor’s or master’s degree.Interest in careers within the A/E/C industry focusing on engineering and architectural services.Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit.Knowledge or experience in heat transfer and fluid thermodynamics.Previous internship or related experience in mechanical engineering.Participation in professional associations, on-campus groups, or community service.Company Overview:
